Cookie Policy

Last updated on October 10th, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how THE PANEL uses cookies and similar browser technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. You can accept, reject, or choose optional categories when you first visit, and change that choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” button at the bottom of the website.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local and session storage for similar purposes. Some are set by us (first-party) and some may be set by service providers after you consent.

Necessary Technologies

  • THE PANEL session and XSRF token: keep the website secure and support sign-in, checkout, forms, and your shopping bag. These are session or short-lived first-party cookies.
  • tp_consent: stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising so we can respect your choice for up to six months.

These technologies are needed to provide functions you request or to remember your privacy choice, so they cannot be switched off through our preference panel. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the website may stop working.

Analytics Technologies (Optional)

  • THE PANEL first-party analytics: creates a random visitor identifier in local storage and a session identifier in session storage. It records page paths, visit time, time on page, referring site, campaign tags, approximate country supplied by our host, device category, browser, operating system, language, time zone, and screen dimensions. It does not store your IP address. Raw visit records are deleted after 26 months.
  • Microsoft Clarity: helps us understand interactions such as page visits, clicks, and scrolling, and may create session recordings. Clarity may set cookies including _clck and _clsk and process device and usage information under Microsoft’s privacy terms.

Advertising Technologies (Optional)

Meta Pixel measures visits, shopping actions, and campaign performance and may support personalised advertising. When you consent, Meta may set identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc and receive the page visited, browser and device information, IP address, and events such as adding an item to the bag, starting checkout, or completing a purchase. Meta processes this information under its own privacy terms.

Your Choices

Optional analytics and advertising stay off until you give consent. Rejecting them does not prevent you from using the website. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Privacy choices”; this stops future optional collection and removes known first-party identifiers from this browser. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising tracking off. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
